Planet Earth 3D in HD: A beautiful time elapse image of the Earth, taken in a single shot by Russia's latest weather satellite Electro-L, has enchanted Internet users around the world. The images were obtained beginning on May 14th, and end on May 20th, 2011. (2x original video) The images are a combination of visible and near-infrared wavelengths, depicting the Earth in a way not visible to the human eye. For example, the planet's vegetation looks red. So far, these 21 megapixels depict the highest resolution Earth images even made. That's 60 miles of the earth's surface packed into every pixel. Virtually all open-minded historical and theological scholars agree the Old Testaments book of Genesis was extracted from the older Sumerian records, if only because of the similarity in their Comparative Religions. The Enuma Elish, the Sumerian Epic of Creation, and Genesis have a variety of common elements. Stories of a Great Flood and Deluge, among other stories, are also common to both Sumerian and Biblical accounts. An inevitable conclusion is that the Anunnaki were as real as Noah, Moses or Abraham. Nephilim is often translated as giants, a legitimate and appropriate interpretation, but one which may be only partially accurate. A better definition might be those who came down, those who descended, or those who were cast down. The Anunnaki of ancient Sumerian texts is similarly defined as those who from heaven to earth came.

In 2009, IBM researchers set out to develop lithium-air battery technology capable of powering a family-sized electric car for approximately 500 miles (800 km) on a single charge. Instead of using heavy metal oxides, lithium-air batteries borrow oxygen from the air as the vehicle is being driven, creating an air-breathing battery. This results in lighter batteries with high energy density that extend the car's range from a single charge. IBM researchers have successfully demonstrated in the lab the fundamental chemistry of the charge-and-recharge process for lithium-air batteries and, if this bold research project is successful, people could see it in cars between 2020 and 2030.
